Diane.  I picked up your book this morning and could not put it down until I finished it—no lunch—no coffee break—no pause.  It is a remarkable thing.  I feel privileged to have joined the circle of those who now know of your experience.  Your courage is beyond imagination.  Your struggle is inspirational.  The outcome of your treatment is what every therapist hopes for.  I will share this book with my psychotherapy students next spring.  They will find few if any other better ways to learn about their sacred task than by learning of your and Renee’s relationship and conversations.   May you continue to enjoy the fruits of your efforts for years to come—and I know to us grandparents, this means lots of face time with those treasured grandchildren.  I am grateful and touched that you thought to share this with me.  I am different in the best of senses for having spent this day with your memories.

Be Well.
